My family and I had the pleasure of going on a tour with Frankfurt on Foot in December 2012. Not knowing what to expect, we were absolutely delighted by our tour guide Tonya who showed us so many interesting sights and educated us to the history of Frankfurt. We had specifically asked to go to a Christmas Market and she did not disappoint us. Tonya introduced us to Apple Wine and many other delicious delicacies specific to Frankfurt. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a layover in Frankfurt, or even if you are staying longer then it is worth your while to enjoy the tour. This was the first tour my husband and I did upon arriving in Frankfurt, and by the far, THE BEST! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learned so much which completely enhanced the rest of our time spent in Germany. If you don't do any other tour, do this one! My third walk so far this year (2012). Having enjoyed my first "test" walk in Spring I discovered that this is the perfect way to show my visitors around the city with the assurance that they see and learn a great deal in the most pleasant way that I can imagine. Jo did a super job of showing us the city! We learned a lot and my teenagers really enjoyed it, too. My daughter was not feeling the greatest and Jo was very compassionate and let us take the walk at our own speed.
